The present research is a diagnosis of the situation of sexual harassment towards undergraduate students at Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). Its development is part of an international comparative study between the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the National University of Colombia based in Bogotá, the Institute of Higher Postgraduate Studies of the State of Ecuador, the National University of Costa Rica and the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. In Peru, the study was led by Dr. Patricia Ruiz Bravo, Professor in the Department of Social Sciences and Director of the UNESCO Chair on Gender Equality at PUCP. The diagnosis consisted in applying an anonymous survey to a sample of the total number of undergraduate students for the 2018-I semester. Additionally, the questions used for the survey were previously agreed upon by the researchers responsible for the participating universities, in order to compare findings. The sample design and the systematization of results were prepared by the Institute of Public Opinion at PUCP (IOP). Moreover, the application of the surveys was supported by a group of student volunteers, who were trained and supervised by this same institution.
