We present the annual publication “Research Essays and Gender Perspective” edited by Patricia Ruiz Bravo and Aranxa Pizarro. This publication includes the winning texts of the Research and Gender Perspective Essay Contestorganized annually by the UNESCO Chair on Gender Equality in Higher Education Institutions at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. This initiative emerged in 2019 with the aim of promoting and making research by Spanish-speaking students visible and promoting interdisciplinary dialogue from a gender perspective.
