Call for papers for the “III Research and Gender Perspective Essay Contest”

The UNESCO Chair for Gender Equality in Higher Education Institutions of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and the Graduate Program on Inequalities and Sustainable Development in the Andean Region (trAndeS-PUCP) are pleased to invite you to participate in the “III Research and Gender Perspective Essay Contest, special edition: Gender, Inequalities and Development in the Andean Region”. The contest is aimed at graduate students from Peruvian and foreign universities and aims to promote the gender perspective in research in social and human sciences, as well as in related disciplines that emphasize the challenges faced by the Andean region to address gender inequalities, multiple discriminations, care and life management tasks in rural and urban areas, among others. The aim is to promote the process of internationalization of knowledge in gender studies, contributing to the exchange and dissemination of research in and about the countries in the Andean region. There are no thematic restrictions as long as the gender perspective is transversal in the research and is linked to social inequalities and/or sustainable development (trAndeS thematic axes). The UNESCO Chair on Gender Equality of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and the trAndeS program will publish the winning essays. TrAndes is a cooperative project between the Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin) and the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).

We look forward to your tests. 🌈
